SahajaYoga, the experience
What about it.....

Sahaja Yoga is meditation technique created by Shri Matajai Nirmala Devi (www.sahajayoga.org). It involves Kundalini awakening and placing oneself in harmony with oneself and the divine nature enveloping us.

I don't think anyone really doubts the power of meditation. However what makes Sahaja different is the experience. God is all around, there is no doubting that. However being able to experience that on your finger tips through cool breeze and being able to see patterns of Divine power in work in events around is surreal. Some of the experiences likely to happen through practice of Sahaja as mentioned below are absolutely mind numbing. It just shuts down the screaming mind and mouth.

a. Knowing I am not different from you. We are part of same.
b. Experience of collective conscience.
c. Obliteration of race, color, form from perspectives- seeing every person as same- a holder of Kundalini and equally blessed.
d. Lack of joy from criticism. It becomes very hard to criticize.
e. Knowing every event is just a play to uplift us. The event itself does not have any special significance of it's own.

While I get the opportunity to describe Sahaja Yoga on occasions to new people, but I don't help them. I am just helping myself. Talking to an old African American lady, an aged Church assistant with medical issues, a young restless guy.... is so humbling. It feels so haughty when I know I am myself looking for same things they are looking for-some attention and craving to be part of larger, something that doesn't desert and is ours eternally.

I guess I read it in Dilbert once, one problem contains another. Solve one and another one crops up. Same goes on inside an individual. There  are are seven Chakras to be balanced and crossed by Kundalini. The good news is that Kundalini is relentless, even when we tire or lose focus. And, that is Her infinite compassion.
